Could this really be the last trip?

Been at my parents old house all week and, amazingly, met with a Realtor yesterday and LISTED IT!!! That was no thanks to my Dad's mouth. The man just leaves me speechless with his utter lack of awareness about simply ANYTHING business oriented. First he told the Realtor how much he'd paid for the place to begin with, then after the guy named a number and asked Dad to confirm, Dad came back with a number $10,000 BELOW what the guy wanted to list it for!!! Then he started talking smack about the lady who runs the park.. HELLO? There is only ONE realty agency that sells mobile homes in their little city and this guy has 23 other places listed in this same park. This woman has to approve every sale... you think he doesn't know her? How do you know they're not best buddies? Eesh! The man is just breathtaking in his asseninity (can I say that?) But in the end the place IS listed and it is also head and shoulders above everything else in the park, and even in the city (in the way of mobile homes anyway), if the Realtor can be believed. The addition they built for a computer room and the new kitchen and flooring sets the place apart dramatically... now if only someone bites despite this shitty market.

Had a good evening with my folks at their new place and managed to get Mom to try all the machines at the gym. She had so much fun I'm hoping she'll go back again, but she's really backslid since she arrived, so we're very worried about her. Time will tell.

At least I flew this time so no obnoxious 8 hour drive to fret over tomorrow, but the carnival I went through flying out was nearly as bad. Good LORD the whole airline industry has gone insane! Must remember to bring that extra $15 if you want to bring luggage with you, and then be sure you're well hydrated before getting on the plane because the days of complimentary drinks and food (including water) are gone.
