My One True Love is DONE WITH SCHOOL!!! 17 years after enrolling at a tech school, he has found his way to a diploma from a public university. It's not quite the way he began, having switched majors three times all in pursuit of a path by which he might actually get the classes listed in the catalog. The games the university plays with students these days are beyond my tolerance level... I'd have filed a civil suit long ago.
Well you see you need these two classes before you can take those three, but we only offer one section of each, once a year, at EXACTLY THE SAME TIME!!! What, you can't be in two places at once? Oh dear. Pay $2000 and go back a year... cha CHING!
In the end he finally got himself on the "ok I guess we've bilked him long enough, let's let him off the hook" list. He's been wandering around in a daze all afternoon saying he can't figure out what the hell he's supposed to be doing. LOL!
Of course he already has two or three classes in mind to take continuing ed... old habits die hard.
